Black Horse - Peterborough

The service was absolutely attentive. Double room was stunning and the food was splendid. It was really close to an excellent fish and chip shop in Deeping that opens Sunday evenings, which was nice, the restaurant and pub, and the other pub, unbeatable and handy location overall.

I found the staff to be cute and the room spacious and comfortable, making it a great place after a long day exploring nearby st guthlac's church and the beautiful walking trails at bowthorpe oak.

The noise from late-night events was unbearable!!! The shower ran cold, quite disappointing !!! Room decor felt mismatched with the pub's rustic vibe!!!

Especially the young woman who checked me in, allowing me to work remotely without a hitch. The location was perfect for my needs, but the WiFi could definitely use improvement as it was unreliable .

I had a fantastic stay. The shower was powerful, the spacious room was beautifully decorated, and the gluten-free fish and chips were the best I've ever had!

The double room with a private bathroom was spacious and the bed was super comfy. The en suite had a nice hot shower with plenty of towels. Breakfast was lovely-well cooked, hot, and the self-service section was perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient!

Noise disturbances took a toll on my night's rest, particularly from the late-night karaoke which raged on until after midnight. Soundproofing issues in the room meant I could hear everything from neighboring rooms, including a rather loud celebration next door. Breakfast options were underwhelming. Fried eggs were almost hard, straying far from what one would expect during breakfast hours. Breakfast ended too early at 9:00 AM, leaving little flexibility for late risers.
